Jason Nemitz, M.D. and Christopher Dawson, M.D. Join Orthopedic Specialists
Ft. Myers, FL, August 21, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Orthopedic Specialists of Southwest Florida welcomes Dr. Jason Nemitz and Dr. Christopher Dawson to their practice. Dr. Nemitz specializes in foot and ankle surgery while Dr. Dawson’s areas of specialization include Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Interventional Pain Medicine.

Dr. Nemitz graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a double major in Pre-professional Zoology and Genetics and a minor in Chemistry. He received his medical education at the Ohio State University College of Medicine, and completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Dr. Nemitz is Fellowship trained in foot and ankle surgery, completing this training at the Michigan International Foot and Ankle Center. He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
Dr. Dawson completed his undergraduate education at the College of William & Mary, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 1994. He then earned his doctorate in medicine (M.D.) from West Virginia University School of Medicine in 2005. His surgical internship was completed at the University of Virginia in 2006. In 2010, he completed his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Dawson is Fellowship trained in Interventional Pain Medicine, having completed his training at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2011. Dr. Dawson specializes in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation as well as Interventional Pain Medicine.
