CGI Holistic Fitness & Spa Holds National Heart Health Month Blood Drive
In conjunction with Community Health Blood Services and co-sponsored by the Closter Chamber of Commerce, CGI Holistic Fitness & Spa held a blood drive on February 8, 2012.
Closter, NJ, February 15, 2012 --(PR.com)-- CGI Holistic Fitness & Spa's first blood drive was held on February 8, 2012. Over 20 donors participated helping to insure that the transfusion needs of area patients are met. Co-sponsored by the Closter Chamber of Commerce, CGI employees, members and other community members showed up to donate and receive a complimentary cholesterol and glucose screening with every blood donation. Employees of the Community Health Blood Services reported that the drive, which was held from 11:30- 2:30 was such a success that they would be back and probably extend their hours next time.
As part of CGI Holistic Fitness & Spa's efforts to reach out to the community a raffle was held for those who participated in the blood drive. The raffle gave out a one week CGI Holistic Fitness & Spa membership as the first prize. The second prize was a CGI Daily Pass awarded to two winners. And the third prize was a copy of The New York Times Best Seller "The Call of Sedona" awarded to three winners. The raffle has been held and the lucky winners have been selected. Winners came from Closter, Old Tappan, and Wayne NJ.
