FastMed has created more than 40 health care jobs in the first quarter of 2012 in Tucson by opening four state-of-the-art medical facilities.

FastMed hires board-certified medical doctors, family nurse practitioners, physician assistant, medical assistants, x-ray technicians, guest services personal and clinic managers.

FastMed has well-established roots in the Phoenix area and in North Carolina, and is now the second largest urgent care provider in Arizona. The group focuses on opening neighborhood locations that are convenient for patients and their families, typically in high traffic shopping areas, with extended hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., open 365 days a year, no appointment necessary and virtually all insurance accepted.
The urgent care group has also begun to offer local employers a range of occupational health services to speed up pre-employment physicals and drug testing as well as helping injured employees get back to work faster.
