Wexford Online University Names Leslie Musser Professor for Health, Wellness, Sports and Nutrition Degrees
Strength and conditioning specialist Leslie Musser recently joined Wexford as professor. The 100 percent online university offers a variety of health, exercise, sports and fitness degree programs.
Rancho Santa Margarita, CA, October 30, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Strength and conditioning specialist, national weightlifting champion and California state record holder in the clean and jerk weightlifting move, Leslie Musser was recently hired as professor for Wexford University. Wexford University is an online university that offers a variety of associates through doctoral degrees in health, fitness, exercise and nutrition.
Introduced to strength and conditioning as a regionally ranked junior tennis player, Musser has more than 15 years’ experience in weightlifting, kinesiology and sports training. She holds a master’s of Kinesiology in Exercise Science from California State University, Long Beach as well as bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of California, Los Angeles.

During graduate school, Musser designed and implemented strength and conditioning programs for Division 1 student athletes and was awarded a research fellowship to study weightlifting biomechanics and physiology for her master’s thesis. In addition, she is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and also teaches in the Kinesiology Department at California State University, Long Beach and at UCLA Extension in the Fitness Certificate Program.
