“How to Craft a Good Question: Shamanic Journeying” on October 2 “Why Shamanism Now?” Radio Show

On her radio show "Why Shamanism Now? A Practical Path to Authenticity,” teacher, author and founder of the Last Mask Center for Shamanic Healing Christina Pratt talks about shamanic journeying, and the importance of having clear concise questions in order to experience a meaningful journey.

Portland, OR, October 02, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Streaming live on the Co-Creator Radio Network (www.co-creatornetwork.com) on Tuesday, October 2, at 11 a.m. Pacific time/2 p.m. Eastern time, on her show "Why Shamanism Now?: A Practical Path to Authenticity,” shaman and founder of the Last Mask Center for Shamanic Healing Christina Pratt explains to listeners that shamanic journeying is an art that requires crafting good questions. According to Pratt, a good question provokes an answer that addresses your problem effectively without creating new problems. Shamanic journeys are often confusing or lackluster because the practitioner began with a poorly crafted question. To have a crisp, clear, and meaningful shamanic journey requires a focused question and free access to the imagination. The shamanic journey is purely a question-driven state and occurs within the dreamlike landscape of one’s own symbolic language. The practitioner must craft the question so that it acts as a key to open the answer, notes Pratt. And then the “answer” that may be as inscrutable as last night’s dream must be accurately interpreted. Herein lies the greatest challenge in developing a powerful, passionate, and effective journeying practice.

In this episode of “Why Shamanism Now?” titled “How to Craft a Good Question: Shamanic Journeying,” Pratt continues to explore the common mistakes, misconceptions, and false assumptions made by journeyers, and remedies to correct them. This show is Part 1 in a series called “Mastering the Art of Shamanic Journeying.”
