Dan Harden and William Gleason in Hawaii - Together for the First Time Ever

International recognized internal martial arts instructor Dan Harden and 7th Dan Aikikai William Gleason Shihan will be teaching their first joint workshop ever in Honolulu Hawaii March 22nd, 23rd and 24th 2013.

Honolulu, HI, February 06, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Aikido Sangenkai in Honolulu Hawaii will be hosting a A joint workshop with internationally known Internal Martial Arts instructor Dan Harden and Aikikai 7th Dan William Gleason Shihan March 22nd, 23rd & 24th 2013.

This seminar will explore exercises for the cultivation and development of internal power, the terminology and methodology of Aikido Founder Morihei Ueshiba and the practical expression of these principles in Aikido techniques and movement.

William Gleason studied Aikido from 1970 to 1980 at the main world headquarters (Hombu Dojo) in Japan and also with Yamaguchi Seigo Shihan. During that same period, Gleason Sensei studied swordsmanship (Kashima Shin Ryu) as well as Japanese language, classical music, and Eastern religion. Since 1985 Gleason Sensei has continued to practice and teach under the auspices of Mitsugi Saotome Shihan and the Aikido Schools of Ueshiba.

Gleason Sensei founded Shobu Aikido, Inc. in 1980 in Boston, Massachusetts, and there are presently five Shobu affiliate dojos from the Midwest to the East Coast. He is the author of "Aikido and Words of Power: The Sacred Sounds of the Kototama" and "The Spiritual Foundations of Aikido, which has been translated into four languages.

Dan Harden is an internationally known instructor of the Internal Martial Arts, with over 40 years of experience in modern and classical Japanese Budo. He has been conducting a continuing series of workshops in Hawaii since 2010.

Students of AIkido, and martial artists of all styles and affiliations are welcome.
