The AM Fight Club Goes Hard or Goes Home
Short intense workouts are getting more and more popular to burn fat and make real differences in body composition.
Deerfield, MI, February 10, 2013 --(PR.com)-- On this Sunday's edition of The AM Fight Club Show on Blog Talk Radio at 6:30pm, Sensei and Certified Trainer Julie Diver will talk about the newest trends in fitness that focus more on short, intense workouts rather than slow, boring cardio. The show is co-hosted by Brian Grinonneau from WhizFish.
Diver said, "For years we've focused on long sessions on a treadmill, for instance followed or preceded with some strength exercises. It always fell short in terms of a real fat-burner or making any real difference in body composition. Short, intense exercise is definitely the way to go."
The workouts, sometimes called "metabolic fitness" go by many different names like MMA-fighter training, Tabata, or Cross-Fit. Diver will address these modern forms and tell listeners how to make a real difference in body composition.
