Mobile Media, LLC Releases "Sportsfans" iPhone App to Encourage Spring Fitness and Fun

Atlanta, GA, March 24, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Mobile Media, LLC has released a new iPhone app, "Sportsfans — Meet. Cheer. Play.," to coincide with the return of the spring sports season. The app, created to support the New Year’s fitness resolutions of its creator, Khary Kwabena Menelik, displays thousands of open sports leagues along with fitness events for more than 30 activities. Menelik, who vowed to improve his own physical fitness while being more sociable outside of work, struggled to find groups to join. "The desire was there, just not much in the way of finding things to do. I searched Google and the App Store and couldn’t find any way to connect with other sports enthusiasts near me. The app, which partners with Foursquare and Meetup, updates its listing of events every hour and provides directions to thousands of casual activities including Football, Golf, Soccer and Zumba outings.
