Transform Your World with Toshiba – Dual Branded Campaign Web Site Launched to Promote Toshiba Notebooks and Transformers the Movie
Toshiba Computers UK has launched a Transformers branded campaign web site to promote their Satellite and Equium retail notebook ranges. Under the banner “Transform your world with Toshiba,” the campaign is available at http://www.transformers.toshiba.co.uk/competition.aspx until the end of the summer. Visitors to the site can enter the competition to win a helicopter flying lesson – a direct reference to the new Decepticon movie character Blackout.
Nottingham, United Kingdom, August 15, 2007 --(PR.com)-- In their highly competitive sector, Toshiba have created a site that shows there can be more than meets the eye when evaluating notebook PC’s. This is achieved through the site design theme itself; with abstract notebooks images shot and lit to resemble robotic parts that could be scenes from the movie. By interweaving these notebook views with footage and stills from Transformers, the brand synergy is emphasised in a visual and interactive Flash environment.
The site has been produced by Persona Creative using bespoke notebook photography and official movie footage, brought together in Adobe Flash and Flash Video. The site has dual branded features including the ability to send to an Autobot or Decepticon friend, a branded HTML email and a 360 degree viewpoint of the featured Satellite notebook that can be Transformed from open and closed states.
The integrity of the iconic Toshiba and Transformers brands is maintained through a close partnership between Toshiba and Paramount Pictures UK, who are managing the movie distribution and promotion. Only official brand assets and footage have been used on the campaign.
Since its pre-launch in mid-July, the campaign is already showing signs of success with hundreds of competition entries, repeat visits averaging over 2.5 and over 46% of visits lasting more than two minutes.
