Morton Grove, IL, May 12, 2013 --(PR.com)-- A free 6-part education series entitled “Resources for Navigating Life Transitions: Your Personal GPS” will be offered this Spring at Terrace Gardens Assisted Living, 8415 Waukegan Rd., Morton Grove from 6:00 P.M. - 7:30.
Staring Wednesday evenings May 22nd, this series is designed to provide helpful information and support to older adults, their family members, loved ones and caregivers. Classes will be presented by experienced professionals in the fields of health care and aging, and focus on maintaining health, wellness, independence and peace of mind in later years.
The series is as follows: May 22--“How to Have a Meaningful Conversation with an Older Loved One About the Topic of Aging”; May 29--“Taking Control of Your Future: Strategies for Avoiding Legal Pitfalls as you Age”; June 5-- “How to Thrive at Home as You Age”; June 12--“The Basics of De-Cluttering, Selling and Moving Your Household”; June 19--“Senior Housing Options: What’s Your Best Choice?”; June 26--“Community and Financial Resources for Aging Well.”
