Cypress Creek Chiropractic Honors Wiregrass H.S. Student with Athletic Scholarship
Cypress Creek has donated hundreds of hours to the community and has taken the time to honor a hard working high school student who has been dedicated to achieving their goals and dreams.
Wesley Chapel, FL, May 24, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Tonty ‘Manny’ Rutinel awarded $500 scholarship at The Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce Student Pride Awards Breakfast.
Supporting local schools is a pillar of community outreach, one that Cypress Creek Chiropractic and Wellness embraced from its beginning five years ago. So when the opportunity arose to present one of eight Student Pride Scholarships for athletic and academic achievement as part of the The Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce and Student Pride Awards Breakfast last month. Dr. Micah Richeson didn’t think twice.
“This is our way of giving a hard working high school student a gift that can never be taken away -- education,” says Dr. Richeson. “We are passionate about education and are so thrilled to see students like Tonty Rutinel dedicate themselves to achieving their goals and dreams."
Each year, outstanding students and athletes from each Wesley Chapel school are chosen to be honored for their school pride and community involvement, as well as athletic excellence. Chamber members work together with the schools to plan and sponsor this event. During the breakfast, the Chamber is very pleased to award scholarships to qualifying HS seniors who are chosen by their schools. This year 118 students were recognized for their school pride, community involvement, and athletic excellence.
Cypress Creek Chiropractic’s $500 athletic scholarship went to Tonty ‘Manny’ Rutinel of Wiregrass Ranch High School. Congratulations also go to the following students who received scholarships in 2013: Mario Giannazzo, Miroslav Sanader, Samuel Henninger and Courtney Prengaman from Wesley Chapel High School; and Emily Payne, Berlin Waters and Ermias Bireda from Wiregrass Ranch High School.
