Oceanside Care Center Takes Extra Steps to Keep Residents Safe During the Hot Summer Months

Families can reduce their UV exposure by wearing proper protective clothing, applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a minimum SPF value of 15, and using caution when near reflexive surfaces such as water and sand, as these surfaces reflect and intensify UV radiation. The use of wide brimmed hats and sunglasses is also recommended to protect one's sight on particularly sunny days.
