Oceanside Care Center Celebrates Resident's 100th with a Big Bash

Oceanside, NY, July 24, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Oceanside Care Center recently threw a festive birthday bash to celebrate resident Minnie LaTronica’s 100th birthday.

The party took place at Oceanside Care Center, 2914 Lincoln Ave, Oceanside, NY. Friends and family joined the residents to honor Minnie, as did Supervisor Kate Murray of the Town of Hempstead. Supervisor Murray presented a certificate of honor in the name of the town to Minnie.

Minnie LaTronica grew up in Jamaica, Queens, where she met her husband, and was a stay at home mom who loved to cook, and she still loves it. She has one son, two grandsons and four beautiful great-granddaughters.

“All of us here at OCC are so excited to host this party for Minnie. She has always been one of the staff’s favorites here and we all can’t wait to celebrate with her family,” remarked Katie O’Connor, Admissions Director at Oceanside Care Center.
