New Site Design for LOVE–the Secret Ingredient
Cooking Site Revamped and More Delicious Than Ever
New York, NY, August 06, 2013 --(PR.com)-- LOVE–the secret ingredient is a dynamic, heartwarming and helpful blog that serves up proven, scrumptious, healthy recipes along with engaging stories of love, joy, comfort and friendship.
On Aug. 7, the LOVE blog — a Graphic Design USA American Web Design Award winner — will officially launch with a sharp new look. The redesign includes new possibilities for reader engagement, more photos, easier navigation and the ability to accept advertising. These developments should help LOVE better serve its happy, hungry readership, and continue cultivating its rapidly rising follower count – now at 17,000 fans and growing.
The blog’s goal is simple: to get people to fall in love with making great healthy food, and to share it with those they love. After all, if you pour love into your cooking it will always taste better. We need more happy, healthy people in the world!
Mary Frances, the talent and the heart behind LOVE–the secret ingredient, is a designer, creative director, painter, wife, mother and cook. She owns an internationally recognized, award-winning brand development and marketing communications firm, and is a graduate of Parsons School of Design. Her creativity overflows into the kitchen, where she loves to cook and serve great food with fresh ingredients, always made with love.
Mary grew up in suburban St. Louis, the youngest of six and the only girl. (Yes, that’s five older brothers!) Her mother was a great home cook, and made sure she could make a mean pie from scratch. After Parsons, Mary married, had two boys and moved from NYC to the NJ suburbs, where she threw herself into cooking and entertaining.
The inspiration for LOVE–the secret ingredient came from her youngest son, when he wrote this inscription in a gift cookbook many years later: “You have provided us with the most fantastic food for my entire life… I know one ingredient that has been ever-present in those meals; love. It's the love that makes your food truly delicious."
High res images of food, Mary and her family are available for use.
