The doctors and staff of Moshiri Orthodontics are pleased to announce that they have again received another accolade. Dr. Maz Moshiri has now joined his father as a Diplomate of the ABO, American Board of Orthodontics.

The ABO has a voluntary examination for any orthodontist who wishes to become a Diplomate. The written exam covers all of the pertinent information necessary for orthodontic treatment, and all Diplomates must retest to maintain their board certification. A clinical exam is also a portion of this certification process, where examiners conduct an oral exam and the candidates must defend their cases.4
"The ABO membership represents continued orthodontic excellence in practice and patient care," said Dr. Moshiri.
The ABO is also the only association recognized by the American Dental Association for orthodontic care.
"All Diplomates will have shingles of membership in the office. If there is not a shingle with the ABO logo, the orthodontist is not a member of the organization," said Dr. Moshiri.
