Shop to Support Heart Health

Charlotte, NC, February 28, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Queen's English PR along with Redd Carpet Group of Philadelphia, PA and Champagne Life Bar will host Hearts for Handbags SipNShop Saturday, March 1, 2014. The event begins at 1:00 PM and will be held at Banquet One located at 10616 Metromont Parkway. Created to bring awareness to heart health and stroke prevention, a portion of the proceeds from ticket and vendor sales will benefit the Charlotte Chapter of the American Heart Association. Advanced tickets are available for $15 until 11:30 PM February 28 and can be purchased via www.hearts4handbags.eventbrite.com. Event day admission will be $20 at the door.

DJ Yasmin Young of Power 98 will provide the music to create a shopping mood and attendees will be treated to a dessert bar sponsored by Two Cute Confections, Sweet Lil Things and Sweet Shots Cupcakes, LLC. Champagne Life Bar will also be mixing Strawberry Bellini's as the signature Red Heart drink. The first 75 attendees will receive gift bags filled with items from Luster Product, Inc., Mary Kay, Pretty Princess Lashes, The Sherell Shop and more.

Vendors for the event include Charlotte based artist Cathay Dawkins, author Mario D. King and new gospel artist LeDessa Brown will launch her "I Still Believe God" t-shirt line. There will also be several vendors for clothing and accessories; as well as, makeup and hair demonstrations, giveaways and onsite IT Works body wrapping and resume editing.
