From Tragedy to Triumph: 3x Cancer Conqueror and Worldwide Marathon Runner to Speak to Upper State Apartment Association

Greenville, SC, March 26, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Three-time cancer conqueror and worldwide marathon runner Matt Jones will bring his is life changing-story of victory through overcoming insurmountable odds to the Upper State Apartment Association. Matt will be sharing his talk, “Property Management is a Marathon” on March 25th at the Greenville Marriott for the luncheon meeting and conducing a seminar from two to four.

During his senior year in college, Matt’s life changed forever; he was diagnosed with cancer. It would spread to his brain and when he slipped into an unconscious state, doctors did not think he would live. Against all odds Matt recovered and received a successful bone marrow transplant. Due to brain damage he had to relearn how to walk and has now ran five marathons on five continents. He is also the founder of REAL Leadership Academy and a PhD Candidate in Organizational Leadership.

Through his experiences, Matt fires up, pumps up, and inspires audiences to overcome obstacles and achieve greater victory both personally and professionally. According to Matt, “when it comes to your victory it’s not the outside stuff that matters but the inside stuff that counts.”

The Upper State Apartment Association represents the entire upstate area of SouthCarolina.
