CSIRI.ORG Sponsors Clara Bowe Memorial Concert and Silent Auction
CSIRI, the Computer Social Impact Research Institute, a local federally-approved non-profit, will sponsor Clara Bowe's Memorial Concert and Silent Auction on May 24th, 2014 in the freight room of the Anacortes Art Depot, once a working train station in the early years of the 20th century.
Anacortes, WA, April 18, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Clara Olive Senff-Bowe/Beyer, 3-26-1911, passed on not long after noon at home surrounded by her family as she wished on March 3rd, 2014. She would have been 103 less than a month later. CSIRI will sponsor a benefit concert and silent auction of some of her cherished possessions to raise funds to benefit domestic violence prevention and rescue services performed by volunteers as community service. CSIRI is seeking funds to recreate Clara's family home as a living history museum, one of Clara's unique visions of compassionate democracy, where arts and crafts can be shared and passed on to future generations. The CSIRI Director, Andi Bowe, honored poet, author, and musician, whose many music videos and books are accessible on the CSIRI organization's website, will entertain, and some of the amazing and one of a kind arts and crafts from CSIRI's many artists featured on their web pages over the years since it was re-founded here in WA in 2007. CSIRI, the Computer Social Impact Research Institute, first founded by Dr. Frederick Bernard Wood in CA in 1979.
