Pajama Glam Party for Women & Girls - Awareness Event
New York, NY, May 01, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Who: Tigerlily Foundation is pleased to host Pajama Glam Party for the first time at the Brooklyn Bridge Marriott, 333 Adams Street, Brooklyn, NY, to celebrate health & wellness with women and girls, on Saturday, May 3rd, from 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Celebrity Guests: Nana Meriweather, Ms. USA; Amanda Nixon, Ms. New York 2013, Sarah Fraser, Radio Personality; Annie Goodman, Fox 5 News

Why: The event was created in 2013 by Tigerlily Founder’s, then 10-year old daughter Noelle Karmo, who wanted to design an event to entertain girls while raising awareness for their breast and body health. Noelle was 3 years old when her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. When Noelle was six, she told her mother that she wanted to do something to help other girls and moms going through breast cancer, and Pajama Glam was born. The inaugural event in Washington, D.C. had more than 300 guests, and even more this year. Now, Pajama Glam is coming to New York.

Tigerlily Foundation’s mission is to educate, advocate for, empower and provide hands-on support to young women affected by breast cancer. According to the National Cancer Institute, breast cancer is the leading cause of death in American women ages 15-54.
