UltraSlide Slideboards Make Their Seventh Season Debut on NBC’s The Biggest Loser Airing September 11
This week, the UltraSlide® Slideboard will join a collection of top tier health and fitness brands in celebrating the kickoff of Season 16 of NBC’s The Biggest Loser: “Glory Days.” The UltraSlide is making its seventh season appearance as an exercise and training tool for show contestants in the Biggest Loser Gym.
Chicago, IL, September 10, 2014 --(PR.com)-- On Thursday, September 11, the UltraSlide® Slideboard will join a collection of top tier health and fitness brands in celebrating the kickoff of Season 16 of NBC’s The Biggest Loser: “Glory Days.” The UltraSlide is making its seventh season appearance as an exercise and training tool for show contestants in the Biggest Loser Gym. This season’s contestants are former athletes who competed in a variety of sports including tennis, soccer, volleyball and baseball. During its twenty year history, the UltraSlide Slideboard has been used by athletes and fitness aficionados in a variety of sports to gain a competitive edge, increase endurance and take their training to a new level.
Barry Slotnick, President of Varisport, Inc. (parent corporation for the UltraSlide brand) shares, “We are proud to be part of a program that makes such meaningful difference in so many lives, not just the contestants but many of the viewers as well.” He also says he thinks the former athletes will take advantage of the slideboard, “Unlike seasons past, where most of the contestants had never seen or used a slideboard, the contestants this season are all former top athletes. Thus, they have likely used, or are at least familiar with slideboards.”
