Hampton Roads Local Personal Trainer and Fitness Owner launches Indiegogo Crowd Funding Campaign for New Fitness Apparatus

Virginia Beach, VA, September 18, 2014 --(PR.com)-- On September 17, 2014, Mark Carrier, Certified Personal Trainer and Owner of Fitness Together gym in Norfolk, VA, launched an Indiegogo crowd funding campaign in order to raise capital to begin manufacturing his exercise apparatus, the FitBox365.
The FitBox365 is a state of the art fitness apparatus that safely and efficiently allows you to get a full body workout from wherever you are, using patent pending clips and fitness bands. Carrier came up with the idea for the FitBox365 after noticing that the older he got, the longer it would take him to recover from his workouts using free weights. He states, “As I started to age, I noticed my recovery time from exercising with free weights was taking longer, plus I had more pain as a result of lifting weights compared to my 20’s, 30’s and early 40’s. The free weights seemed to put more stress on my joints causing more pain, which slowed my recovery. Where I use to be able to bounce back in a day, it was now taking days.”
In 2011, after deciding to use resistance tubes for a workout, rather than weights, Carrier struggled with creating enough resistance from the tubes in order to produce an effective workout. After finding nothing on the market that fit the apparatus he envisioned, he created the first FitBox365 prototype. After three years of development, planning and preparation, the FitBox365 is ready to be manufactured and distributed.
FitBox365 will host its crowd funding campaign on Indiegogo, starting on September 17, 2014. The campaign will last 45 days and hopes to raise $27,000, in order to begin manufacturing the product. If the campaign is successful, the first fully produced FitBox365 apparatus will be available in February 2015 to those who pre-ordered through the crowd funding campaign. A full public release will happen in March 2015. For more information about the FitBox365 and the Indiegogo campaign, visit our website at www.fitbox365.com
