Government Contracting Institute Hosts New Class to Prepare Your Business for Success in the Federal Contracting Market in 2015
The Government Contracting Institute provides an extensive learning experience to teach and demonstrate proven marketing tactics to business professionals seeking to be successful in the Federal Contracting marketplace.
Baltimore, MD, November 02, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Government Contracting Institute, sponsored by TargetGov and bwtech@UMBC, will host their new class, “Government Marketing and Tactics to Build FY2015 Revenues,” on November 6, 2014. The Institute’s instructors will teach attendees how to position themselves to win contracts, how and where to conduct market research, how to create your own marketing process and effective marketing plan, and how to use content marketing. To learn more about the course and to register, visit www.GovermentContractingInstitute.com.
The marketing strategies used in the past are no longer providing the measureable results necessary for success. Issues pertaining to federal government contracting include fewer decision makers with less time available, tighter budgets and higher expectations of doing more with less, and meeting goals of improved energy usage, lower costs, and increased efficiency all while supporting specific agency goals. It is getting more and more difficult to capture and maintain the attention of decision makers, meaning marketing plans, processes, and strategies need to adapt in order for companies to be noticed and win contracts. The companies who position themselves with the appropriate decision makers before the RFP is released will own their share of this developing market.
Instructing the class is Gloria Larkin, President of TargetGov and a nationally known speaker, author, trainer and federal contracting business development expert. Gloria’s expertise has developed through creating TargetGov and helping large and small businesses nationwide win billions of dollars in federal contracts. Also teaching the class is Elizabeth Harr, an accomplished entrepreneur and experienced executive with a background in strategic planning, management, communications, and alliance development. Skilled in analytical thinking, process building, change management, and brand messaging for successful business growth, Elizabeth has worked with clients in the for-profit, non-profit, and government sectors, helping them map out growth plans using technology adoption. The third instructor for the “Government Marketing and Tactics to Build FY2015 Revenues” class is Terry Dunlap. Mr. Dunlap heads the training division of Tactical Network Solutions where he actively develops and teaches a number of custom cyber related classes.
