Anacortes, WA, November 27, 2014 --(PR.com)-- CSIRI.org Director Andi Bowe today announced she will play a free Christmas concert on the 10k Kawai grand piano at the Anacortes library on December 21st at 2PM. Combining a medley of classical and traditional tunes, Andi has selected songs from her Sherwood Music School course, where she spent nine years of training to be a piano teacher by the time she graduated high school in 1969, as well as some traditional Christmas melodies. Ranging in level of difficulty from easy to read the music due to her failing eyesight, to parts of the last Nocturne by Chopin she performed for a concert sponsored and judged by the L.A. Music Teachers' Association and her teacher, Mrs. Elizabeth Withrow, this medley can help heal the planet with the gift of music. To those unable to attend, the Director will upload the performance to youtube on the same day and it will also be available through a link on the web pages maintained and designed by the Director. The Computer Social Impact Research Institute is dedicated to using musical intelligences to heal the planet and each other and is online. CSIRI.org contains a wealth of information on issues as diverse as climate change, carving native flutes, poetry, research related to ancestral traditions, digital photography of natural places, to healing with the gift of music, the true language of man, animals, the earth, and the stars. This is a child-friendly event open to the public.
