A Truly Different iPhone Keyboard

The inefficient QWERTY keyboard layout was designed for a typewriter in 1873. The HERO Keyboard layout was designed for small mobile screens. HERO enlarges and centers the 80%-used letters (in English), and places them in a circular layout like how our thumb naturally moves. Common letter combinations are adjacent and can be dragged over for faster entry. These changes result in saving 3 feet of finger travel per sentence, as measured by founder Corey Stone.

Lawrence, KS, February 25, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The QWERTY keyboard layout was designed for a typewriter in 1873. The new patent-pending HERO Keyboard reinvents mobile typing by arranging the keys to minimize thumb travel. Placing the most-used letters in the middle reduces finger travel by over three feet when typing a 140-character tweet (as measured by founder Corey Stone).

The circular layout mimics how the thumb's saddle joint naturally moves, and with less-used keys on the outside, the need to reach is minimized. The most common letter combinations are adjacent and drag-able for faster entry. Common symbols are always shown in the main view, with a keypad layout in Number view.

Plans for future releases include an auto-suggest bar, full drag functionality, and additional themes. See more at http://herokeyboard.com
