Vietnam Classic Pastry Cup 2015 at Dobla by Classic Fine Foods
Classic Fine Foods organizes The Vietnam Classic Pastry Cup every 2 years, to give an opportunity for Vietnamese Young Talent Chefs to show off their talents and expose themselves to other professionals in the country. The Winner Team will represent Vietnam in February 2016 to the Mondial Des Arts Sucres in Paris.
Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, April 17, 2015 --(PR.com)-- On 9th April 2015, Classic Fine Foods was proud to organize the “5th Vietnam Classic Pastry Cup” at Dobla Vietnam headquarters in Vung Tau.
Thanks to the support from their partners and the amazing work and skills of the contestants, the day of competition brought passionate people together and made a real statement about the level reached in Vietnam nowadays.
For this 5th edition of the only true pastry competition in Vietnam, 4 motivated teams shown their skills, team spirit and creativity to a panel of recognized national and international pastry chefs.
The Vietnam Classic Pastry Cup 2015 brought together 4 teams of contestants from different areas:
- 1 team from the North: Marriot Hanoi
- 1 team from the South: Caravelle Saigon
- 1 team from the Center: Sheraton Nha Trang
- 1 team from the Phu Quoc island: Salinda Phu Quoc
After the day of hard work, pressure and excitement, Caravelle Saigon team hold the winners’ cup with: Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Van and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Dung.
They will proudly represent Vietnam in Paris at the 5th edition of the Mondial Des Arts Sucrés (International pastry competition) in February 2016.
2nd Prize went to the winner: Marriot Hanoi. The team members won an all inclusive (accommodation & airfare) training in Hong Kong under the tuition of a Master Chef Jeffrey Koo, which be sponsored by Capfruit in March 2016.
3rd Prize went to Salinda Phu Quoc contestants who will also have the opportunity to join an all inclusive (accommodation & airfare) training at the French Culinary School in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia under the tuition of a Master Pastry Chef, which be sponsored by Fonterra in October 2015.
4rd Prize went to Sheraton Nha Trang who won the Pastry Book which be sponsored by Valrhona and the certification which have attended The Vietnam Classic Pastry Cup 5th Edition.
