Sunday Assembly Presents: Brain Function and Neurotechnology
How does the brain store information? Put another way, what changes in the brain when we learn something? Related to all this, what is the national BRAIN Initiative and what will we learn from it? What will Neurotechnology do for us? Go-Pro for the brain? Join Sunday Assembly San Diego on 7/26 at 11am to learn more.
San Diego, CA, July 07, 2015 --(PR.com)-- How does the brain store information? What is neurotechnology, and how can it improve health and quality of life? From tiny molecules to complex behaviors, researchers have been studying the brain for over a century - and there is still so much to discover. The Brain Research through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies (BRAIN) Initiative is bringing scientists together from a variety of disciplines to accelerate research into brain structure, function, health, and more.
If your brain is interested in learning more about itself and the world around it, please join Sunday Assembly San Diego on July 26 to hear about the research of guest speaker Nicholas Spitzer, a Distinguished Professor and Co-Director of the Kavli Institute for Brain and Mind at UC San Diego. As always, Sunday Assembly is free and open to the public, so look forward to entertaining songs, delicious snacks, and thought-provoking conversations. A free children's program will be provided.
