Clearwater Fitness Studio to Host Zumba Dance Event Benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Toys for Tots

Clearwater, FL, December 04, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Stellar Fitness will hold a dual purpose charity event on Saturday, December 15th at 9:30am, just before the start of the Clearwater Holiday Parade and Downtown Festival. Owner Nicole Gauthier and her team of Fitness Instructors are looking forward to hosting their first-ever charity event.

The family friendly event will feature the latest dance-fitness craze sweeping the nation, Zumba. Zumba is a fusion of Latin and International music-dance themes creating a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness class. Zumba is great for all ages, all fitness levels, and is enjoyed by men, women, and children alike! Class will be led by a certified Zumba Instructor from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at 802 Franklin Street at the corner of S. Myrtle Ave. There will be plenty of parking, refreshments, and prize giveaways onsite.

Anyone may participate by donating monetary funds or children’s toys. Participant’s monetary funds will be sent to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and will benefit children of the world who are stricken with diseases like cancer, AIDS, and sickle cell anemia. These monetary funds will help St. Jude in its ongoing fight against childhood cancer and other catastrophic diseases. Toy donations will be given to the Toys for Tots chapter in Pinellas County. Toys for Tots primary goal is to deliver, through a shiny new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to needy youngsters that will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.

The event is scheduled just prior to the City of Clearwater’s Downtown Parade and Festival which will begin at 11am. Stellar Fitness intends on inspiring Clearwater Citizens to create a day based on family, togetherness, health, and charity by starting at their studio and then heading over to the parade, just two blocks north of their location.
