MMA Academy Poised for Growth with New Director of Business Operations

Black Force Mixed Martial Arts & Fitness Academy, of Summerville, South Carolina, has hired a Director of Business Operations in order to increase membership and retention, improve marketing, streamline business processes, and facilitate better community outreach.

Summerville, SC, August 18, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Black Force Mixed Martial Arts & Fitness Academy, located at 400 E. 5th Street, Unit D, Summerville, South Carolina, has hired Teri Bradshaw as their new Director of Business Operations.

"We are very excited that Teri has decided to join us," said owner, Dwight Decker. "She and her son came in about four months ago as members, and has since proven to be a dedicated member who believes in what we are doing here at Black Force MMA. After getting to know her and her professional background, it was just a natural progression for me to offer her the position." Decker, a disabled US Navy veteran and former SWAT team member, is known for his tough, "no quit" attitude, as was recently displayed during his 25.5 mile walk from Summerville to Patriot's Point on July 17, 2015. This walk has been dubbed, the "Walk for the Fallen," a fundraising initiative that Black Force sponsors and organizes each year with all proceeds going toward veteran-focused charities. Decker admits, his personality may bode well with men, but it may not seem as welcoming to those demographics he is hoping to target in order to grow his business and continue his charitable pursuits--that is where Bradshaw comes in--to reach out to females of all ages, but especially families.

Bradshaw is no slouch herself. A former collegiate softball player and US Army veteran, she certainly has no issues throwing grown men around in the gym; however, she also has the knowledge and skills to sophisticate Black Force's marketing campaign, increase its social networking footprint, and create and implement standard operating procedures where there previously were none. "I really love what Dwight is doing here," said Bradshaw. "Anyone who spends enough time with him can clearly see how committed he is to his family, his members, and to his community. I feel honored he has chosen me to help him take his business to the next level, and energized by his passion. Black Force MMA is going to be ramping up for the remainder of 2015 and we will be ready to make a big showing in 2016 as a premier facility for not only mixed martial arts, but for anyone looking for alternative methods of fitness and sports conditioning. We are more than a martial arts studio, we're family."

Her first order of business was to organize a free women's self-defense seminar, which she did with great success on August 8, 2015, and on August 30, 2015, Black Force will be at the 5 Branches of American Heroes event at VFW Post 3433, 10154 Bellwright Rd, Summerville, SC 29483. Decker, Bradshaw, and the Black Force staff will be providing interested parties with information on the facility and demonstrating self-defense techniques.

In addition to her new duties with Black Force, Bradshaw is also a Corporate Accounts Manager for a third-party accounts receivable firm in North Charleston. Bradshaw currently lives in Moncks Corner with her husband, two children, and three dogs.
