Matrix Medical to Unveil Enhanced TRACTUS Platform at NASS 2015

The new sterile scanner has the capability of capturing and electronically uploading UDI data from data matrix codes as small as 0.25mm^2*. The new scanner is coupled with a non-sterile scanner and software that captures all medical implants. This product ensures that key stakeholders are able to comply with the recent FDA Final Rule on UDI. The software is also capable of sending data not only to the electronic health record (EHR) of a patient, but can also integrate with upstream and downstream software and inventory management platforms. There has also been a developed feature, allowing hospitals to run recall audits on implanted inventory.
