Back in Action Physical Therapy Launches Free Pain Prevention Class Series
Free Classes Focus on Neck, Back, and Shoulder Pain
Holly Springs, NC, May 06, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Back in Action Physical Therapy will offer several free classes on neck, back and shoulder pain beginning May 12th and running through August 11th at the Hunt Center in Holly Springs.
All classes begin at 6:30pm in the Hunt Center at 301 Stinson Ave at Holly Springs and each class focuses on a particular area. The first session (May 12th) focuses on the back. Subsequent courses focus on the neck (June 16th), shoulders (July 14th), and back (August 11th.) The classes are recommended for ages 15 and up.
Neck, back, and shoulder pain are very common, and can be exacerbated by excessive sitting and poor posture. These free courses will focus both on prevention and treatment of pain.
Back in Action’s experienced physical therapists will instruct attendees in anatomy, postural education, ergonomic recommendations, common causes and contributing factors of pain. Instructors will assist attendees with helpful exercises and their proper form.
Instructors will answer individual questions at the end of each session.
You can register for the course by calling 919.557.9600 or by visiting http://www.hollyspringsnc.us/1034/Registration.
“We think physical therapy has important applications for the real world,” said Back in Action’s David Mills, PT, MPT. “These kinds of pain are an unfortunate side effect of many office jobs, and we think our courses can help a lot of people as a result.”
