Waterbury, CT, June 30, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Dynamico, a new health, wellness and energy company located in Waterbury, CT, may only be a few days shy of two months old, but its mission of helping others in need was implemented way before it ever opened its doors for business. Dynamico is committed to the constant and continued improvement of helping people. However, it doesn’t just stop there. Dynamico is also committed to giving back to its communities within the United States and the Bahamas in times of need.
Dynamico’s first #DynamicoGivesBack initiative is not only to honor National Hunger Awareness Month in June, but to help support the thousands of men, women and children who suffered a tremendous loss during the recent floods in West Virginia.
“Our heartfelt prayers and thoughts are with West Virginia and the communities so affected by this most recent tragedy. It is an honor and a privilege that we can help in some small way. Our company and our field continue to pray for healing during this tragic time,” stated Dynamico CEO, Dr. Philip A. Mongelluzzo, Jr.
Since June 23, 2016, there have been nearly two dozen deaths reported in West Virginia and thousands of homes and buildings have been lost. More than 60 roads were closed because of the flooding and damage where some towns were completely surrounded by water.
“The flooding we experienced Thursday and into Friday is among the worst in a century for some parts of the state,” said Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin, who declared a state of emergency in 44 of West Virginia’s 55 counties Friday.
West Virginia received one-quarter of its annual rainfall in a single day and multiple rivers surged to dangerous levels, including the Elk River, which broke a record at one stage that had stood since 1888. Some spots picked up more than a foot of rain in only a few hours. That amount of rain in such a short amount of time is something expected once in 1,000 years according to the National Weather Service.
Dynamico offers both Quantum, a healthy energy drink, and XLR8, a nutritious, full meal replacement bar. Between June 28-30, 2016, Dynamico is going donate free XLR8 bars to the flood victims in West Virginia for every purchase made by Dynamico distributors and customers within the United States and the Bahamas.
