Free Fertility Testing for Teachers in Pennsylvania and Surrounding Areas
Philadelphia, PA, July 08, 2016 --(PR.com)-- After helping dozens of local area teachers learn more about their reproductive potential last year, RMA at Jefferson and RMA of Central Pennsylvania at PinnacleHealth (RMA) will once again offer free fertility testing for all teachers this summer. For additional details and to schedule their free fertility test, teachers may visit: http://www.rmaspecialists.com/free-fertility-testing-for-teachers/
“Age by far, plays the largest role in effecting egg quality which in turn determines fertility success. Whether a patient is planning on starting a family now or in the future, it is important to learn about their reproductive potential as early as possible,” says Dr. Martin Freedman, a board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologist at RMA. “The more information we have now, the more options patients have available and the better we can help them plan for their future.”
From July 1st – September 30th teachers may schedule an appointment at any of their five office locations (Philadelphia, Langhorne, King of Prussia, Willow Grove, and Mechanicsburg) Monday – Thursday between 7:00am – 9:30am for their free fertility analysis.
Female teachers will be offered a complementary Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH) blood test which determines the quality and quantity of a their ovarian (egg) reserve. Male teachers will be provided a semen evaluation that looks at the count and motility of their sperm.
Teachers can expect to receive a follow-up call from an RMA nurse with their results within 2 weeks of their fertility testing. AMH levels can be drawn while on birth control and at any point during the menstrual cycle, results generally do not vary cycle-to-cycle.
RMA encourages all teachers to be proactive about their reproductive health and schedule a follow-up appointment with one of their six world-class Reproductive Endocrinologists in order to conduct additional tests and obtain a more comprehensive overview of their reproductive health.
