The Parkland YMCA Family Center Extends an Invitation to the Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, January 26, 2008
The Parkland YMCA Family Center inaugurates Parkland’s newest family attraction with a fun day for the entire family, from 10am to 2pm on Saturday, January 26, 2008. The public is invited to celebrate the official opening of the new Parkland community facility at 10559 Trails End, Parkland, FL, in a celebration designed to display the first class facility and introduce the community to the quality programs and services designed to attract and provide for the families of Parkland.
Parkland, FL, January 17, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Parkland YMCA Family Center inaugurates Parkland’s newest family attraction with a fun day for the entire family on Saturday, January 26, 2008. The public is invited to celebrate the official opening of the new community facility at 10559 Trails End, Parkland, Florida, in a celebration designed to display the first class facility and introduce the community to the quality programs and services designed to attract and provide for the families of Parkland.
From 10am to 2pm, the Parkland YMCA will offer activities to excite both parents and kids. In addition to the Family Center tours; a chance for the public to view the magnificent new 24,000 sq. ft. premises and its many special features, there are special activities created for the day to entertain the young and impress the adults. Families will learn how the YMCA can benefit their health and wellness through great diversified programs that build each family member. They will see firsthand the many programs geared for the entire family to participate in as well. The magnificent brand new 24,000 sq foot facility will be on display for the first time and local families that tour the building will be mesmerized by the enormity of the facility. The huge gymnasium will thrill the kids and adults as they learn of the age appropriate basketball and volleyball leagues. Best of all, while the kids are being taught and enjoying the many activities offered, the adults can be getting their exercise and wellness, all under the same roof.
The Child Watch Center will be open for viewing as will the special Young-at-Art program, a program to introduce children to the wonderful world of arts and crafts.
Programs created to provide fun for the whole family and excitement for the youngsters throughout the event include Fitness Class demonstrations, face painting and games for everyone, and a Bounce House for the kids. Healthy snacks will be offered throughout the day to complement the many activities arranged to make the day a grand success.
