Local Personal Development Center in Menlo Park on a Mission to Create a Positive Attitude to Benefit All
“A positive attitude allows you to withstand the heat, endure the pressure and wait out the time to become the diamond you were always meant to be.” - Dr. Robyn Silverman – Kuk Sool Won™ of Menlo Park’s Child Development Expert
Menlo Park, CA, September 13, 2016 --(PR.com)-- September 2016 is Positive Attitude Month as part of Kuk Sool Won™ of Menlo Park’s Powerful Words Character Development program! All students will be studying, developing and experiencing powerful life lessons focusing on understanding the importance of developing an optimistic way of thinking, feeling and acting in the face of everyday challenges. In addition to all of the physical skills that they'll be working on this month, students will be discussing and practicing the following concepts both in and out of class:
· • Attitude defined: Positive attitude vs. negative attitude
· • Happy thoughts & hopeful hearts: How my thoughts & feelings affect attitude
· • Attitude & actions: How a positive or negative attitude affects how we act
· • Choosing my attitude: Becoming more positive, hopeful & grateful
“A positive attitude is an optimistic way of thinking, feeling and acting in the face of everyday challenges. People with positive attitudes choose to look for the good. They are 'good-finders,'” says Dr. Robyn Silverman, Kuk Sool Won™ of Menlo Park’s child & adolescent expert, and creator of the Powerful Words Character Development system used at the facility.
Kristin Quintana, Chief Instructor of Kuk Sool Won™ of Menlo Park says, "We believe that attitude is everything. Developing and maintaining a positive attitude is generally the difference between enjoying life and suffering through life. As we focus this month on helping our members to understand and truly enhance their own attitudes, they’ll start to see the benefit immediately. It’s so exciting to watch them grow and provide them with the tools they need to become the very best versions of themselves. We want to see our people becoming winners at the game of life. As we welcome more and more new faces into our 'family,' we’re excited to see the positive impact that this month’s Powerful Words Curriculum has on our students as well as on our entire community. That’s what it’s all about for us!
"It’s a pleasure seeing our community recognized as a place with Powerful Character, and seeing our students lead the way! As this community’s premier Powerful Personal Development Center, it’s an honor to be able to play even a small role in making the future a better place.
"Kuk Sool Won™ of Menlo Park’s strong curriculum and the Powerful Words Character Development system provide our students with the opportunities to become unstoppable in life. These lessons will remain with our students for life and we're honored to help them achieve the success that they deserve," says Quintana.
Kristin Quintana is the Chief Instructor of Kuk Sool Won™ of Menlo Park and has helped thousands of kids, teens, and adults to embrace a positive and healthy lifestyle.
