Local Business Alcovy Media Hosted One of the Largest East Metro Atlanta Health and Fitness Expos

Atlanta, GA, February 18, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Alcovy Media, LLC is a locally owned ad agency offering marketing services to the business community. Owner, Mrs. Allie Young and Mrs. Lorraine Harrison of About Conyers, joined forces to launch the East Metro Atlanta Health and Fitness Expo to positively impact the community (www.EMetroHealth.com). The intention of the Expo was to take East Metro Atlanta on a healthier journey that encompassed wellness, financial, family and the economy.

On January 28, 2017, the Health and Fitness Expo attracted over 1,200 attendees spanning across 20 counties to the Georgia International Horse Park in Conyers, GA. Attendees participated in several activities and featured events during the expo. The first activity of the day kicked off at 8:00am with the Frosty 5K Race hosted by Phoenix Pass. The race started and ended at the exhibition center of the Horse Park. Winners of the race took center stage at the Expo to be awarded during the kick off and opening.

Some of the other highlighted activities included guest appearance and workshop facilitation by Mr. Lee Haney aka Mr. Olympian, the internationally awarded bodybuilder and main sponsor. Onsite, the Expo welcomed a live radio broadcast sponsored by 680 The Fan with personality Brandon Leak. Another highlight was live Karate demonstrations hosted by UMAS Karate where young students performed karate moves on stage for viewers. Children and adults with a child-like spirit, enjoyed the thrill of the live appearance of the Gwinnett Braves Mascot "Chewy," the flying trapeze, and interacting with new puppies in the puppy zone.

Several companies collaborated with the Health and Fitness Expo by sponsoring the initiative. Media and PR sponsors Impact Branding, 106 Live Radio, BizLynks TV, and Kiss 104.1 featured interviews and promotions of the Expo. Rockdale Medical Center and Piedmont Newton Hospital were the two representing hospital systems onsite to provide attendees with information and health screening vouchers. In addition to these hospital systems, the Expo showcased medical offices, chiropractors, financial experts and health and wellness companies to mention a few.
