Centers Health Care and the Institute For Pressure Injury Prevention (IPIP) are holding a summit tomorrow (3/7/17) starting at 9:00 AM at the beautiful Venetian in Garfield, NJ regarding raising awareness and ways to control the epidemic of pressure injuries, a.k.a. bed sores globally. Although it’s an all-day event, it will start at 9:00AM and end at 5:00PM.
The summit is being put together and hosted by two major institutions, Centers Health Care (a company based out of New York who operates more than 32 nursing homes and rehabilitation centers throughout the northeast) and the Institute For Pressure Injury Prevention (IPIP), which was founded with the support of the world’s leading experts designed to eradicate pressure injuries throughout healthcare facilities.
This will be an all-day event providing education and important information on pressure injury prevention. As the topics will primarily be focused on clinical matters, it is important to Administrators, Directors of Nursing and Unit Managers/Supervisors.
