Live Like Bella and We Care Chemo Kits Announce Partnership
Miami, FL, July 12, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Live Like Bella and We Care Chemo Kits join forces at its 1st Annual Ice Cream Social Fundraiser at Sloan's Ice Cream in CityPlace Doral on Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 2pm to 5pm to promote cancer awareness and raise funds for cancer research.
The Co-Founder of the newly formed We Care Chemo Kits is a recent cancer survivor whose twin sister saved her life as she was her perfect match to serve as her stem cell donor. They have partnered up again and created We Care Chemo Kits. In partnership with the Live Like Bella childhood cancer foundation, they will raise funds for cancer research and put together 200 chemo kits to be distributed in Miami-Dade County to both pediatric and adult cancer facilities.
The fundraiser will celebrate the lives of three (3) cancer survivors: Mily Loureda, owner of Master Franks Tae Kwon Do Academy; Gisenia Reyes, Co-Founder of We Care Chemo Kits; and Marielena Rado. The three women met while receiving treatment and all will be celebrating the 1 year cancer free milestone. The event will also honor the memory of Bella Rodriguez -Torres and Mayleen Blandon, owner of NZone Sports of West Dade. About 100 students from Master Franks Tae Kwon Do Academy and NZone Sports of West Dade are expected to attend the event - all wearing the signature We Care Chemo Kits bright orange t-shirt - definitely a sight to see.
