Providence Team Announces Fundraising Schedule for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Polk County
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is one of the biggest and best causes for the Providence Golf and Country Club Community. This year their annual walk will be held in Lakeland, Polk County, Florida at Lake Mirror. The community’s developer, ABD, is sponsoring the yearly golf tournament along with other Providence builders. There is also a casino night and other events, all of which lead to fundraising that breaks records every year.
Davenport, FL, September 09, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Organizers, sponsors, residents, and participants for the events to raise funds for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer in Providence Golf and Country Club Community are always ready and willing to go the extra mile. This year the team’s pinnacle event, the walk to end breast cancer, will be held at beautiful Lake Mirror at Lakeland in Polk County, Florida.
The Orlando area typically breaks records for walk numbers nationwide, which created a need for more walks to be planned all over the region. The Providence team, known as the Booby Brigade, will most likely break records again this year as well: they are currently the top fundraiser in Polk County and their biggest events are still coming up. The public is invited to join them at all or any of the following:
Pink Party Casino Night September 23rd
Providence shines with Casino Night each year; this time around, food will be provided by Ovation Bistro & Bar and Tijuana Flats. Tickets are still available for a bundle price of four for $100 (which includes food, playing chips, entertainment, and a take away gift). Casino Night will have a 50/50 raffle, many raffle baskets to win, silent auction items, prize wheel, and more.
5th Annual Pink Classic Golf Outing October 7th
The 5th Annual Pink Classic at Providence Golf Club is once again hosted by the very generous builders of Providence Golf and Country Club Community, with great entertainment by Buddy Shelton. $75 per team includes golf, cart, lunch, four drink tickets while golfing, two hours of draft beer after golf, as well as a delicious dinner and many prizes.
Walk to End Breast Cancer October 14th
Held at lovely Lake Mirror with registration at 7:30 am and walk starting at 9 am, the walk’s purpose is to raise awareness and funds to save lives from breast cancer. Moneys raised are donated to The American Cancer Society. The walks are noncompetitive, three to five miles long, and charitable donations will fund innovative research, provide free services, and ensure that information reaches those diagnosed with this devastating disease.
Providence Golf and Country Club Community is a collection of neighborhoods by respected national builders, including its developer, ABD. “Move-in ready homes are available as well as specs at various stages of construction, along with many choices of models and home sites for custom building,” says President of ABD Development, Yuval Botansky. “A sense of community is always found behind the gates of Providence, whether friends and family enjoy its amenities together or residents come together with a common cause to defeat breast cancer and support its victims.”
