Regina, Canada, October 12, 2017 --(PR.com)-- REGINA - Brought to you by Mrs. Canada Globe and Eye Inspire Events, a fundraiser for the Your Time Women’s Empowerment Foundation, Embrace will be at the Kramer IMAX Theatre in Regina Saskatchewan for a one-night limited screening. The movie will be playing Wednesday November 27th, 2017 starting at 6:30 PM. In attendance will be special guests the Honourable Christine Tell and Mrs. Canada Globe 2017, Holly Weselowski.
“I am very happy to be part of this important movie coming to the Queen City Regina. It is an opportunity to bring awareness to women young and old about the body issues we are faced with every day. We need to teach that the importance of self-worth goes far beyond our appearance and the need to do so has never been greater,” says the Honourable Christine Tell. Embrace uncovers why poor body image has become a global epidemic and what women everywhere can do to end the war with their bodies.
In 2013 Body Image Activist Taryn Brumfitt posted an unconventional before-and-after photo. It was seen by more than 100 million people worldwide and sparked an international media frenzy. Embrace follows Taryn's crusade as she explores the global issue of body loathing, inspiring us to change the way we feel about ourselves and think about our bodies.
