Scientology Volunteer Ministers: Helping Make New Years Resolutions Traditions More Fruitful
To get a jump start on 2018 New Year’s resolutions, the Scientology Volunteer Ministers will deliver a seminar on Targets and Goals on January 6th providing tools to set and reach one’s goals. The seminar will start at 1:30pm at the Scientology Volunteer Minister Center in downtown Clearwater, 101 N. Fort Harrison Ave. Light refreshments will be served.
Clearwater, FL, December 30, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Glendy Goodsell, Executive Director of the Scientology Volunteer Ministers said, “By survey, only 8 percent of people actually keep or fulfill their New Year’s resolutions. This seminar utilizes discoveries in the field of strategic planning, developed by the Scientology Founder and humanitarian, L. Ron Hubbard on how to set and achieve goals.”
“Targets and Goals” is just one of nineteen subjects covered in the Scientology Handbook, the basic textbook for the Volunteer Ministers training program. Other subjects include: The Cause of Suppression, The Basics of Organization and the Technology of Study. Free on-line training in these subjects is also available via the group’s website at www.volunteerministers.org.
Ms. Goodsell said that since the opening of the Volunteer Minister Center in July of 2015, more than 7,000 people have come in to learn more about the Volunteer Ministers as well as avail themselves of courses and seminars.

About The Volunteer Minister:
The Volunteer Minister (VM) program was launched more than thirty years ago, in response to an appeal by Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard. Noting a tremendous downturn in the level of ethics and morality in society, and a consequent increase in drugs and crime, Mr. Hubbard wrote, "If one does not like the crime, cruelty, injustice and violence of this society, he can do something about it. He can become a Volunteer Minister."
Accordingly, in addition to traveling to wherever disaster strikes, Volunteer Ministers work with public servants in their own communities, helping to improve conditions right at home. Renowned for their disaster relief, Volunteer Ministers have trained and partnered with over 1,000 different groups, organizations and agencies around the world, including the Red Cross, National Guard, Army Cadets, Salvation Army, Boy Scouts and disaster management agencies.
