NCHS Celebrates Mission Mesa Women’s Health Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony
North County Health Services Reveals Recent Remodel.
San Diego, CA, November 01, 2018 --(PR.com)-- North County Health Services (NCHS) was joined by the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce and NCHS Board of Directors on October 25, 2018 to commemorate the completion of the newly renovated Mission Mesa Women’s Health Remodel with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
NCHS is consistently staying ahead of healthcare trends and advances, including state of the art healthcare facilities. NCHS has recently remodeled their Mission Mesa Campus to include the Mission Mesa Women’s Health Center, Mission Mesa Pediatrics Health Center, and NCHS WIC. The campus was first constructed so that mothers and their children could both obtain care at the same location, making scheduling care easier for families.
The new Mission Mesa Women’s Health Center has been tailored to better serve the community of Oceanside with improved efficiency and enhanced healthcare delivery. Before the renovation, dedicated NCHS staff were providing care to women and children out of an older facility that the organization was rapidly outgrowing. Today, the newly remodeled facility has increased capacity by 66% and will help accommodate the expected population growth in the upcoming years.
Briana Cardoza, Vice President of Business Development at NCHS commented, “I am absolutely thrilled about the completion of the Mission Mesa Women’s Health Services renovation project. The new modern and efficient design is aligned with the high quality of care we provide and it will significantly improve the patient experience.”
NCHS offers one of the most comprehensive women’s health care programs in all of North County, focusing on providing women with many different options for women’s health and family planning. NCHS’ Women’s Health Services uses a certified midwife-MD collaborative model to offer the highest quality of care for their patients and plays a vital role in ensuring healthy pregnancies and safe deliveries.
A special thank you to NCHS donors: Price Philanthropies Foundation, Supervisor Bill Horn and Wells Fargo Bank for their generous contributions towards the remodel, which will help NCHS continue to provide exceptional care to the women and families of North County. “We believe that this investment in the health of pregnant mothers is an investment in the health of future generations,” commented Barbara S. Kennedy, President and CEO at NCHS.
NCHS is proud to serve as a staple in North County and its surrounding communities, and looks forward to continuing to provide quality care for patients for many years to come.
