2nd Annual Marathon Spectacular at Weston Nurseries on April 15
Weston Nurseries, Marty’s Fine Wines and Start Line Brewing Are Proud to Host the 2nd Annual Marathon Spectacular.
Hopkinton, MA, March 26, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Celebrate the Boston Marathon on Monday, April 15 (Patriot’s Day) at the 2nd Annual Marathon Spectacular at Weston Nurseries in Hopkinton. Weston Nurseries, Marty’s Fine Liquors and Start Line Brewing Company invite you to party less than 1 mile from the start of the race. Eat, drink, dance, and have fun all while cheering on the runners as they go by.
Weston Nurseries, along with Start Line Brewing Company, and Marty’s Fine Wines are hosting this event to support the 26.2 Foundation. All proceeds from this event will benefit their mission to promote the sport of marathoning.
“We have always been very proud to host the statue of Stylianos Kyriakides on our Weston Nurseries property. His legacy of loyalty, hard work, determination and dignity is one that resonates strongly within our Weston family. This event is in honor of Mr. Kyriakides and his can-do spirit. We truly wanted to do more so we worked with Start Line brewing and came up with the idea for the Marathon Spectacular.”
When asked to describe his thoughts about the party with a purpose, Ted Twinney, of Start Line Brewing Co said this, "We couldn't be more proud to partner with Weston Nurseries and Marty's Fine Wines to put together another Marathon Spectacular this year. This is Start Line Brewing's second year as a Corporate Sponsor of the 26.2 Foundation and the Marathon Spectacular. We love a great party and we have planned for the Spectacular to be truly special. I can't wait to see everyone celebrating the Marathon, enjoying live music, great food, beer and wine at Weston Nurseries on Patriot Day."

StreatFoodRx is joining the food truck selection this year alongside PJ’s Barbecue, Goody’s Kettle Corn, and Say Cheese Food Truck, Snappy Dogs, and more. Start Line Brewing will be supplying the beer and Marty’s Fine Wines will have wine and ciders flowing all day long. DJ, Gary Titus will be spinning the tunes and emceeing the party this year and will keep the energy going all day with killer bands like Hot Acoustics, Vermont Fiddlers, the F-Tones and Soul Function Boston.
The kids will have a great time, too, playing giant Jenga, getting their faces painted, playing corn hole, and dancing in their tent or watching the race on their ginormous TV screen. Thanks to the MetroWest YMCA for helping provide activities for the kids.
