BCMA/WCA Helps Teach About LC’s Advanced and Basic Fundamentals Track

WCA is holding a program will be an excellent source of information for those who are new to LC’s and/or wish to brush up on the fundamentals, or are indirectly involved with LC’s and wish to have a better understanding of this longstanding and venerable trade payments instrument.

Milwaukee, WI, October 26, 2019 --(PR.com)-- The Association will be holding 2 concurrent sessions on the same day. One session is for people with little or no LC experience and the other is for people who have worked with LC's but looking to advance to the next level. After reviewing the full content details on the announcement which can be seen on WCA's website, one can make a choice of Session 101 or 102, whichever best fits the level of LC Experience.

If one attends Session 101, this program will be an excellent source of information for those who are new to LC's and/or wish to brush up on the fundamentals, or are indirectly involved with LC's and wish to have a better understanding of this longstanding and venerable trade payments instrument.

In the morning, there will be discussions regarding Parties in a LC transaction, Transaction flow, Common documents, and so much more. After lunch which is included the program will continue to educate about Bid, performance and advance payment, Financial versus trade related, Affects on a company's credit line and so much more.

If one attends Session 102, this program will benefit those with more experience, who have a good fundamental understanding and experience working with LC's or are directly and primarily responsible for LC's within their company. This program will also explore best practices involving LC's and Bank Guarantees to make LC';s simpler, more workable and friendlier to use.

In the morning, there will be discussions regarding Incoterms and the Overview 2010 vs 2020, UCC terms and Incoterms, and Structuring a LC's ; pro-forma invoice and LC guide, Confirmation, usance; discounting and SO much more. After lunch which is included there will be information about SBLC governing rules: UCP 600 | ISP 98 a deeper dive, URDG 758 relative to BG';s versus local law, Challenging markets and so much more.
