Protein Bar Selection Gets Whey Better® at Local Whole Foods Market

Irvine, CA, April 09, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Whole Foods Market in Tustin has added Whey Better® Meal Replacement Bars to its store shelves this month. Whey Better® Bars are meal replacement bars made with whey protein and produced by local nutritional supplements manufacturer Roex, Inc.

The process of getting Whey Better® Bars into the store was spurred by a local Roex employee who regularly shops at the Tustin location and noticed there were virtually no non-soy options for meal replacement bars.

Roex Vice President, Chris Bolduc later approached local store management, who were impressed with the Roex product offerings, and agreed to take on the line of whey protein bars as part of their local vendor program.

“With opportunities like the Whole Foods local vendor program, we can continue to reach people locally and nationally and help educate them about better, more nutritious protein options, such as whey,” states Bolduc. “Plus, it certainly doesn’t hurt that Whey Better Bars really taste great too.”

Roex Whey Better Bars are available in Dutch Chocolate flavor with Almonds and have 20 grams of whey protein per bar, contain no hydrogenated oils and only 1 gram of sugar per bar.

Roex anticipates the entry of Whey Better Meal Replacement Bars into the local Tustin Whole Foods Market location will be the first of many Roex products introduced at Whole Foods Markets nationally throughout the year.
