Call for Submissions to MarketingSherpa’s Fourth Annual Viral Marketing Hall of Fame
Warren, RI, May 09, 2008 --(PR.com)-- MarketingSherpa is looking for marketing and advertising agencies and companies using viral marketing and advertising to submit their best viral marketing and advertising campaigns for MarketingSherpa’s 2008 Viral Marketing Hall of Fame, at http://ViralAdvertising08.MarketingSherpa.com.
“This is the fourth year for the Viral Marketing Hall of Fame awards,” said MarketingSherpa’s Editorial Director Tad Clarke. “Last year we had a hard time selecting the winners because there were so many good submissions.”
To enter, simply submit your video/audio clips, e-cards, online games, Flash, tell-a-friend boxes, microsite or social networking campaign and give details about the campaign, strategies used and the buzz it generated. The campaign submission deadline is May 16th. Access to the survey is at http://ViralAdvertising08.MarketingSherpa.com.
The 2007 Viral Advertising Showcase highlighted 10 viral marketing campaigns from Sunflower Market, NetQoS’ Netcosm, Farm Aid, The Gobbledygook Manifesto, Levi Strauss Hong Kong, TaxBrain.com, Six Degrees/Network for Good, Beacon Street Girls, Exeros Inc., and Fox’s “American Dad” DVD.
“What separated last year’s winners from many of the other submissions was that they tackled a tough issue and got fantastic results,” added Clarke. “Normally, they accomplished this via elaborate seeding tactics, targeted multichannel placements, strong creative and dedicated follow-through. The superb range of these campaigns proves that viral is not limited to entertainment brands or to games for young adult males.”
