Elite Fitness Systems Announces Expansion of Warehousing, Distribution and Showroom Facilities in Ohio
Columbus, OH, June 11, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Elite Fitness Systems (www.EliteFTS.com) – a recognized industry leader in strength and conditioning – announced it has acquired an additional facility in London, Ohio to accommodate its growing warehousing, distribution and showroom capacity.
EliteFTS.com recently acquired 10,000 square feet of operating space, relocated its showroom, further expanded production of its signature line of clothing, and enhanced its distribution capabilities.
The facility – close to double the size of company’s current location – can stage EliteFTS.com’s business and training seminars, which attract strength, fitness and conditioning leaders from as far as Australia and the United Kingdom.
“The need to expand our facilities is a true testament to what we have been able to achieve since founding the company 10 years ago,” said EliteFTS.com Founder and President Dave Tate. “At that time, it was unthinkable for an online strength and conditioning business to become both an industry leader and top performing company.
“We’ve proven that there’s more to our industry than just supplements and equipment,” he added. “We strongly believe that the educational resources and core products we provide will continue to shape the future of strength training.”
Since its launch in 1998, EliteFTS.com’s annual revenue has increased nearly 70 percent, including more than $4 million in sales generated in 2007. Part of the reason for this growth is a product line in excess of 3,000 items, including its own signature brand line featuring a wide variety of products ranging from apparel to home and commercial gym equipment.
EliteFTS.com’s Web site also has played a key role in its development. With more than one million visitors per month, it has quickly become one of the leading resources in the strength and conditioning field. Among its features is an interactive Q&A with approximately 30 resident experts from a variety of sports disciplines, ranging from football and mixed martial arts, to powerlifting and strongman.
