"Something to Sing About!" NYC Benefit Concert for Domestic Violence Survivors

Date/Time: Thursday, November 12th, 2009 at 7:30 pm (doors open at 7 pm). Location: Bowery Poetry Club, NY, NY. Cost: $50 in advance (through www.vowbwrc.org website); $75 at the door. Intent of Concert: To raise $25,000 for Voices of Women Organizing Project (VOW), to raise awareness of Domestic Violence & the advocacy, support, & resources provided by VOW, and to empower Domestic Violence Survivors by allowing them to hear the power of their stories mirrored back to them. - November 01, 2009
