New Service Alerts You When Your Family is in Danger

SafetyAlertNetwork.org, a non-profit organization, has released a free, first of its kind, service which allows the general public to be alerted via cell phone text message, software, and e-mail of Amber Alerts, sex offender movement, boil water and evacuation orders, severe weather, emergency school bulletins, and Homeland Security alerts, all based on the person’s geographic location. - July 20, 2006
