Memphis Music Commission Launch CD & Cookbook to Fund Musicians Healthcare Plan

Many musicians do not have access to employer-subsidized health care. In an effort to assist, the Memphis Music Commission offers the Memphis Musicians Healthcare Plan through the Church Health Center. The program is self-funded and to keep it alive, the Music Commission has created "A Taste of Memphis Music: The Cookbook" and CD. Proceeds from the sale of the Cookbook and CD will benefit the Musicians Healthcare Plan. The cookbook is $25, the CD $10, and both sell as a combo for $30. - September 21, 2010
