E.a. Young Academy Middle School Students Present Projects at 2014 ExxonMobil Texas Science and Engineering Fair. Emily Baker Wins Second Place in Physics and Astronomy.
Six students from EA Young Academy traveled to San Antonio to present their science projects at the 2014 ExxonMobil Texas Science and Engineering Fair. Over 1100 students from all over Texas competed, presenting their 900 projects. Keller eighth grader, Emily Baker, won second place in the Physics and Astronomy category. - March 29, 2014
E.A. Young Academy Middle School Students Win Several Prizes and Recognitions at 2014 Fort Worth Regional Science and Engineering Fair
Middle schoolers from EA Young Academy successfully compete at the regional science fair in Arlington. Of the sixteen students (13 projects) present, 11 won recognition or were awarded placement in category standings. Calleigh Johnson, and eighth grader, won second place Best of Fair. - February 25, 2014
E.A. Young Academy’s Carol Raymond Named 2012 Area Teacher of the Gifted
Carol Raymond, M.Ed., has been named as the 2012 Area Teacher of the Gifted award recipient for the Piney Woods/Prairie Area by the Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented (TAGT).
